Tunde Owoola is an experienced GIS professional currently serving as the GIS Tools Team Lead at Weyerhaeuser since November 2021, where responsibilities include shaping the vision, strategy, and roadmap for GIS services, collaborating with business stakeholders, and managing GIS product development and integration. Previously, Tunde Owoola held the position of Manager of GIS and Fiber Optimization at International Paper from November 2007 to November 2021, focusing on network optimization and cost-saving opportunities within the fiber supply chain through GIS and operations research tools, as well as managing the enterprise GIS and geo-spatial data integration. Tunde Owoola's career also includes a role as a GIS Architect at AltaLink from April 2006 to November 2007. Tunde Owoola holds a PhD in Geography/GIS from the University of Ibadan.
