James Williams is currently the VP of Audience Development at WETA, where James oversees the digital team responsible for reporting news across all PBS NewsHour digital platforms. Prior to this role, James served as the Executive Director of Digital Strategy at PBS NewsHour. James has a strong background in digital video content strategy, having held positions such as Vice President of Digital Video at National Geographic Partners and Executive Producer at Animalist in Discovery Digital Networks. With a B.A in Communications Studies from Virginia Tech, James has a vast experience in digital media production and audience engagement.
