Taryn Emerson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in IT and HR technology roles. Currently serving as Director of IT, Business Systems Strategy & Operations at WestRock Company since March 2022, Taryn also holds a position on the Industry Education Advisory Council at AOTMP® since April 2024. Previously, Taryn spent six years at Consumers Energy in various leadership roles, including Director of HR Technology. Early career experience includes a role at United Technologies, focusing on Human Resources and Labor Relations. Taryn holds a Master's degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Oakland University.
