Brian Cowley is an experienced professional in operational risk and compliance, currently serving as the Operational Excellence Lead at Westpac New Zealand since May 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Head of Operational Risk and Compliance Uplift at TSB New Zealand from February 2021 to April 2023, and multiple leadership positions at Bank of New Zealand, including Head of Third Party Risk Management and Head of Compliance and Control Transformation from March 2016 to February 2021. Brian Cowley also held roles at Milestone Direct and ANZ, where responsibilities ranged from leading risk management initiatives to improving customer experiences. Education was completed at St Ninians High School from 1993 to 1999.
