Pierre Beier has a strong background in electrical and communications engineering, with extensive experience in grid automation and technical operations. Currently serving as the Teamleiter Netzleitstelle at Westnetz since July 2019, Pierre previously held positions as an Automation Engineer at Next Kraftwerke and as Responsable de Projets Exploitation at ABO Wind, where responsibilities included data management, windfarm communications, and operational management. Pierre started a freelance IT career in 2004, providing IT and network administration in healthcare settings, and gained additional experience as a System Administrator with Bundesagentur für Arbeit. Pierre holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering from Fachhochschule Südwestfalen, as well as a vocational qualification in IT system integration.
