Julian Sprey is an experienced professional in the field of electrical engineering, currently serving as a Referent für Fach- und Marktanforderungen im Netzvertrieb at Westnetz GmbH since May 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Associate at the Institute for High Voltage Equipment and Grids, focusing on energy distribution grid planning and network operation from January 2017 to December 2021. Julian also undertook an internship at Haefely Test AG in Calibration Services and worked as a Student Assistant at the Institute of Power Systems and Power Economics. Julian holds a Dr.-Ing. and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in the same field from RWTH Aachen University, complemented by studies at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
