Philippa Bancroft is a seasoned professional with significant experience in public land management and development. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Public Land at the Greater London Authority since April 2012, Philippa leads a team that facilitates the identification and release of surplus land for housing in London, promoting collaboration between public and private sectors to enhance affordable housing delivery. Prior to this role, Philippa held positions such as Senior Development Manager in the Strategic Projects and Property team and Area Manager for North East London, focusing on investment programs and development projects. Philippa's earlier experience includes serving as Investment & Regeneration Manager at the Homes and Communities Agency, where project management in southeast London involved close collaboration with local councils and housing providers. Philippa holds an MSc in Spatial Planning from UCL and a BA in Geography from Durham University.
