Michael Kifer serves as Vice President of Engineering at Westlawn Group since January 2023. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at EnerVest, Ltd. from August 2014 to January 2023, including Vice President of Acquisitions & Divestitures, Vice President of Acquisitions & Reserves, and Vice President of Planning & Analysis, along with serving as a Senior Reservoir Engineer in Acquisition and Divestiture. At BMO Capital Markets, Michael functioned as Vice President of A&D Advisory from January 2013 to August 2014. Michael’s experience also includes being a Senior Reservoir Engineer for New Ventures at Rosetta Resources and a Reservoir Engineer at ExxonMobil, where responsibilities involved natural gas fields and project engineering in offshore operations. The early career includes a Field Engineering Internship at Schlumberger. Michael Kifer earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University, graduating in 2007.
