Tom Palathra is an experienced chemical engineer with a strong background in process development and technology management. Currently, Tom serves as the Process Technology Manager for North America Epoxy at Westlake, a position held since November 2013, where responsibilities include leading process development efforts and evaluating advanced manufacturing technologies. Prior experience includes serving as a Chemical Engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center from September 2008 to October 2013, focusing on the safe scale-up of chemical processes for Department of Defense applications. Additional experience includes a research role at the National University of Singapore and an internship with the US Department of Homeland Security. Tom holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Manhattan University.
