Nelson Silva has a strong work background in the hospitality industry. Nelson started their career as a Rooms Division Manager at the Caracas Holiday Inn Hotel from February 1990 to January 1995. In this role, they oversaw housekeeping, reservations, and front office operations while ensuring high standards of guest service and maximizing revenue. Following that, Nelson worked as the Vice-President of Operations at Central Florida Marketing Group from June 1996 to December 2001. Nelson then joined Westgate Resorts and served as the Vice President of OPC Marketing starting in January 2002.
Nelson Silva's education history includes a variety of degree programs and certifications. In 1991, they began their studies at the Instituto Universitario de Nuevas Profesiones, where they pursued a Higher University Technician degree in Tourist Companies. After completing this program in 1993, they continued their education at the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Protocolo y Turismo, earning an Expert degree in Organization of Events and Protocol in 1994. Nelson'sacademic journey then led him to the University of Phoenix, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Management from the School of Business between 2009 and 2011. Seeking further professional development, Nelson pursued an EMBA Executive Master in Business Administration at Stetson University's School of Business, graduating in 2013.
In addition to these educational accomplishments, Nelson obtained a certification as a Real Estate Sales Associate (Realtor in Florida) from the Department of Business and Professional Regulation in January 2014.
