Christian Schuermann currently serves as the Head of Finance, Accounting & Controlling at Westfalen AG since May 2020, having previously held various leadership roles in E.ON from October 2010 to May 2020, including Head of Controlling Corporate for Europe & New Markets (Renewables), Head of Planning and Forecasting (Group Controlling), and a position in Planning & Performance Measurement. Christian has extensive experience in financial controlling, business controlling, and orchestrating planning and reporting processes across international teams, particularly within the renewable energy sector. Academically, Christian holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, a Master's degree in Business Administration from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, and has participated in research and exchange programs at The London School of Economics and Political Science, Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, and Burgundy School of Business.
