Shawn Simmons currently serves as the Vice President of Internal Audit at Western Union, holding additional roles such as Interim Chief Auditor and Director of IT Audit since January 2019. Prior to this, Shawn spent a decade at Comcast as an Engagement Executive and Principal in Technology Audit, where responsibilities included directing technology risk management projects and managing the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program. Earlier experience includes a managerial role at PricewaterhouseCoopers, focusing on operational, advisory, and compliance risk management projects, along with extensive work in cybersecurity and business processes. Shawn holds a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Information Systems and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Information Systems, both from Michigan State University.
