Svitlana Mazepa is an accomplished legal academic and researcher currently serving as an international guest researcher at Universität Osnabrück, focusing on propaganda and fake news within the context of information warfare. Svitlana holds multiple prestigious positions, including chair at ELI Ukrainian Hub and vice dean of the faculty of law at West Ukrainian National University, where also serves as deputy editor-in-chief of the journal Актульні проблеми правознавства. Svitlana has extensive experience in international relations and criminal law, demonstrated through roles such as assistant dean at Ternopil National Economic University and visiting professor at Jagiellonian University, where efforts are directed toward supporting Ukrainian students in legal studies. Svitlana's previous tenure at INTERPOL as a senior inspector involved legal support for police cooperation and facilitating international collaboration.
