Corey Wingen is an experienced athletic trainer currently serving at Western Reserve Hospital since August 2023. Wingen has a diverse professional background, having held positions such as WHS Manager and Injury Prevention Specialist at Amazon from July 2021 to July 2023. Leadership experience includes serving as President and Vice President of the Officers’ Spouses’ Club Iwakuni from May 2019 to May 2021, where Wingen maintained membership engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional roles in athletic training span various institutions, including Virginia Wesleyan University as Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer, as well as positions with the Peninsula Pilots, Christopher Newport University, Wilmington College, Bethany College, and the University of Kentucky. Wingen's educational background includes a Doctor of Health Sciences from A.T. Still University and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Kentucky.
