Wei Sim Chang is currently the Data Governance Lead at WD, a Western Digital company, with significant experience in data governance, data quality, and customer satisfaction management. Since December 2007, Wei has championed Data Quality Awareness and facilitated Data Quality Issue resolutions while aligning Kuala Lumpur site initiatives with corporate strategies. Wei has innovated projects to integrate data quality within IT change control and established governance frameworks for data requests. Prior to this role, Wei managed customer data analytics and introduced improvements to enhance factory accountability and customer satisfaction. Wei also has a background as a Product Quality Principal Engineer and Manager, where responsibilities included quality assurance and supporting new product requirements. Wei holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Industrial Chemistry from the University of Science Malaysia, completed in 1992.
