Shuhan Chen is a Staff Engineer at Western Digital since December 2016, with a PhD in Physics and a strong background in photolithography processes, nanoscale device characterization, and failure analysis in the semiconductor industry. Shuhan has extensive experience with DUV scanners and i-Line steppers, as well as expertise in material science and device physics. Prior to this role, Shuhan held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Purdue University and a Research Assistant at the University of Delaware, focusing on spintronics and magnetism. Shuhan has demonstrated leadership in coordinating teams for process optimization and yield improvement during various internships and research roles. Shuhan earned a BS in Optical Information Science and Technology from Beijing Jiaotong University.
