The Research and Conservation team at the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions focuses on conducting scientific research to inform and implement effective biodiversity conservation strategies. This team is responsible for studying and managing Western Australia’s species, ecosystems, and landscapes, promoting conservation initiatives, managing critical habitat restoration projects, and ensuring sustainable practices to protect the natural environment.
