Renee Howell, PhD MLS(ASCP), currently serves as Vice President of Medical Affairs, Specimen Management at BD since May 2024 and is a member of the Westchester County Board of Managers for Laboratories and Research since January 2021. Previously, Renee held various leadership roles at Siemens Healthineers from January 2015 to April 2024, including Vice President of Clinical Sciences, and served as Deputy Mayor and Trustee for the Village of Tuckahoe from April 2019 to March 2023. Prior experience includes senior consultant roles at PeopleSolutions, Inc., and significant contributions in R&D and product development at Canon US Life Sciences, SeraCare Life Sciences, Qiagen, Inc., Digene Corporation, and Life Technologies. Renee holds a PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Rutgers University and an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
