Edward Timmons serves as the Director of the Knee Regulatory Research Center and as a Service Associate Professor of Economics at West Virginia University since September 2021. In addition, Edward holds the position of Senior Research Fellow at the Archbridge Institute and a Senior Affiliated Scholar at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, both since February 2021 and September 2019, respectively. Previously, Edward was a Professor and Director of the Knee Center for the Study of Occupational Regulation at Saint Francis University from August 2008 to August 2021, and has held various academic roles at Badger Institute, Collegio Carlo Alberto, and Defiance College. Edward earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from Lehigh University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics and Actuarial Science from Lebanon Valley College.
