Kathie Hess Crouse currently serves as a Delegate for the 13th District in the West Virginia House of Delegates, appointed by Governor Jim Justice in November 2021. Crouse has a diverse range of board and committee memberships, including positions with the Putnam County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Putnam County Republican Club, and Kanawha Valley Soap Box Derby. Additionally, Crouse is a board member for the West Virginia Home Educators Association, overseeing Homeschool Day at the Capitol, and has actively participated in the West Virginia Citizens Defense League as a member and citizen lobbyist advocating for Second Amendment rights. Crouse holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from West Virginia State University and has been involved in alumni relations through the Charleston High School Multi Class Reunion Committee. Lastly, Crouse held the position of Committee Chairwoman for the Campaign Committee with the West Virginia Federation of Republican Women until December 2023.
