Lorene Oates is an experienced professional in volunteer coordination and board leadership, currently serving as the Volunteer Coordinator at West Valley Medical Center since 2013. Oates has been a member of the Board of Directors for Girls On the Run Idaho, a non-profit program empowering young girls, since 2001. Previous experience includes working in sponsor engagement at the St. Luke's Celebration from 1995 to 2013, and holding board positions at Running USA from 2008 to 2011. Oates also has a background in marketing, having worked as a Marketing Coordinator at KCPQ-13 Fox Television and Muzak. Lorene Oates holds a B.S. in Communications from the University of Idaho, completed in 1985, and attended Caldwell High School from 1978 to 1980.
