Alex Cobb is currently serving as the Head of Place Strategy at the West of England Combined Authority. Prior to this, Alex held positions at HM Treasury as a Senior Policy Adviser and at the Prime Minister's Implementation Unit as a Principal Analyst. Alex also worked as an Assistant Economist at the Cabinet Office and gained experience as a Retirement Actuarial Consultant at Willis Towers Watson. Alex holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford.
