Kirsten Coleman has a diverse work experience in the education field. Kirsten began their career as a First Grade Teacher at Southwest Leadership Academy Charter School in 2013. Kirsten then went on to work as a Kindergarten Teacher and later as a K-2 Special Education Teacher at the same school. In 2016, they took on the role of MTSS Data Coordinator before transitioning to West Philadelphia Achievement Charter Elementary School in 2017, where they served as the Director of Curriculum and Instructional Data. Currently, Kirsten holds the position of Director of Mathematics and Instructional Data at West Oak Lane Charter School starting in 2018.
Kirsten Coleman holds a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Saint Joseph's University. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Syracuse University from 2009 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Inclusive Elementary and Special Education. In 2012, Kirsten also briefly attended The University of Queensland, although the specific degree and field of study are not provided.
