Gina Zanarini is a skilled bat biologist with extensive experience in wildlife conservation and management. Currently employed at Western EcoSystems Technology, Inc. (WEST) since March 2022, Gina previously served as a Biological Science Technician for the Bureau of Land Management, focusing on northern spotted owls. Prior roles include Lead Field Technician at Tetra Tech and multiple positions with the National Park Service, where responsibilities encompassed bat mist-netting, population tracking of various species, and developing innovative survey protocols. Gina's earlier experiences include work with Bat Conservation International and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, enhancing expertise in biological monitoring and species management. Gina holds a Master’s degree in Wildlife Forensics from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology from Virginia Tech.
