Angela Sigmon is an experienced school counselor currently serving in the West Hempstead Union Free School District since July 2018. Previously, Angela held several guidance counselor positions, including a leave replacement role in middle and high schools, where responsibilities included individual and group counseling, facilitating support groups, and addressing issues related to bullying and academic support. Angela also has experience as a job developer for disabled individuals and has worked as a substitute teacher. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Counselor Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from the same institution, alongside an Associate of Arts from Farmingdale State College.
