Akemi Iwamoto, SHRM - SCP, has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as HR Manager at West Hawaii Community Health Center and Human Resources Manager at Hawaii Island Community Health Center since October 2020. Prior roles include Huiana Programs Administrator at Hawaii Island Workforce & Economic Development Ohana Inc., and Human Resources Coordinator at Kohanaiki Golf and Ocean Club. Additionally, Akemi held the position of Human Resources Assistant at Hualalai Resort for over a decade. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management, and ongoing pursuit of a Master of Business Administration at Western Governors University. Akemi is also pursuing certification as SHRM - SCP between 2024 and 2027.
