Mike Porter serves as the Senior Director of Education at the Parenteral Drug Association, focusing on education and outreach within the 503B compounding community, a role Mike began in November 2023. Prior to this, Mike held multiple significant positions at Pharmatech Associates, a USP company, including Head of Operations for the Eastern US and Vice President of Regulatory Compliance, leveraging over 34 years of expertise in GxP compliance across various sectors. Additionally, Mike contributed extensively to PPD as Executive Director of Clinical Supplies QA, alongside various senior roles in quality assurance. Career progression includes positions at Commissioning Agents, Inc., Myriad Genetics, and Lilly, with a strong foundation in quality systems and process engineering. Mike holds a Master’s degree in BioEngineering from Clemson University and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Virginia Tech.
