Alexa Zissios is a dedicated school counseling intern at West Chester Area School District since August 2023, providing supervised school counseling services in primary and secondary education. Previously, Alexa served as a Registered Behavior Technician and Behavioral Health Technician at CCRES from February 2021 to January 2024, assisting children with intellectual and developmental disabilities through behavior management and progress documentation. Alexa gained research experience as an intern at the Early Childhood Cognition and Emotions Lab in 2019, focusing on the developmental impact of arts enrichment programs for economically disadvantaged preschool children. With a Master of Education in School Counseling anticipated in 2024 and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology obtained in 2020, Alexa combines a strong educational background with practical experience in behavioral health and academic support.
