Mr. John Beneke joined Bakubung Platinum Mine on the 1st May 2023. He has extensive experience in the Mining Sector, with roles that include: Operational roles, Mining Management, Tutoring of mining-related studies, and as a General Manager. Mr. Beneke’s experience spans across many different mines, including but not limited to JSE-listed: Harmony Gold; Gold Fields, Sibanye Stillwater, Samancor Chrome and the South African School of Mining. Mr. Beneke’s key priorities include: Mitigating Bakubung Platinum Mine (BPM)’s project delays through executing a newly developed project plan and ensuring accountability to any project delays. He intends to use his rich mining sector experience to ensure “safe and profitable mining” for BPM.
