Xiaonan (Shawn) Shi has extensive experience in quality assurance and engineering, currently serving as System Quality Manager at Wenco International Mining Systems since July 2014, holding various roles including System Quality Team Lead and Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. Prior experience includes a Research Co-op Engineer position at Cadex Electronics, where independent planning and execution of tests for battery technology were essential, and a Coop Testing Engineer role at AFCC Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation Corp., focusing on in-situ tests for fuel-cell catalyst designs. Additionally, as a Government Affairs Assistant at the European Union Chamber of Commerce, Xiaonan coordinated engagements with officials and led initiatives to support future interns. Xiaonan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Integrated Engineering from The University of British Columbia, earned between 2009 and 2014.
