Femi Lixourgioti has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Femi is currently working at Welocalize as a Quality Lead, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Welocalize in different roles, including Global Early Careers Program Manager and Talent & Quality Program Manager from 2017 to 2021. Before joining Welocalize, Femi worked as an Account Manager at SimulTrans from 2016 to 2017. Femi also gained experience as a Jr Project Manager at LocalEyes Ltd. from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, Femi had an internship as a Localisation Intern at Google in 2014. Femi started their career as a Freelance Translator from 2012 to 2013. Femi also served as a Language Ambassador at London 2012 and as a Communications Intern at ISU Verona in 2012. Femi started their professional journey as a Translation Intern at Aluminium of Greece in 2010.

Femi Lixourgioti obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Foreign Languages, Translation, and Interpreting from Ionian University in Greece from 2007 to 2012. Femi then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cognitive Science from University College Dublin in Ireland from 2021 to 2022. In 2013-2014, they completed an M.Sc. in Translation Technology at Dublin City University. Femi also obtained a CIPD Diploma in HRM (Human Resources Management and Services) from the National College of Ireland in 2018-2019. Additionally, they completed an Erasmus program in Foreign Languages for International Commerce at Università degli Studi di Verona from 2011 to 2012. Femi has also acquired various certifications, including Leadership and Management from UCD Professional Academy, a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation, and became a CIPD Associate Member. Femi also completed the GALA Academy 2023 course on redesigning a Translation Quality Framework.
