Maria Jones, CRCR, M.S.M, currently serves as Practice Manager at Piedmont Urgent Care by WellStreet, where leadership is applied to both clinical and administrative teams to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Prior to this role, Maria held various positions at Wellstar Health System, including Patient Access Manager and Patient Access Supervisor, overseeing patient access functions and managing a large team to ensure peak performance and patient satisfaction. Additional experience includes positions at Piedmont Healthcare, Dermatology Associates of Georgia, DeKalb Medical, Southern Regional Medical Center, and Broward Health, focusing on patient registration, insurance verification, and operational management. Maria holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Strayer University and two Bachelor’s Degrees in Health Services Management and Health Administration from Clayton State University and Florida Atlantic University, respectively.
