Shalanda Atkins is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in patient access operations. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Patient Access Operations at Wellstar Health System, Shalanda previously held the position of Regional Director of Patient Access at Community Health Systems. Prior roles include multiple leadership positions at Conifer Health Solutions, where Shalanda progressed from Patient Access Manager to Patient Access Director and ultimately Patient Access Director II. Shalanda began their career in healthcare as a Patient Financial Services Supervisor at Henry Medical Center in Stockbridge, GA. Shalanda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Health Services Administration from Strayer University.
