Pete Brubaker is President of Hammer Creek Enterprises, LLC, a private investment company he founded in 2005. From 1995 until 2005 Mr. Brubaker was President/CEO of Susquehanna Media Co. (Radio Broadcasting, Cable Television and Internet Services). He retired as a full-time employee in February 2005 but continued as a consultant to the Company until it was sold in May of 2006.
In addition to WellSpan Health, he is currently a Director of the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic and the York County Library System.
Mr. Brubaker previously served as a Director of Snyder’s-Lance Inc. The National Cable & Telecommunications Association, Cable Television Laboratories and the Pennsylvania Cable Network.
He has been an active advocate for improving the school readiness of Pennsylvania’s children as a founding Director of “Focus on Our Future”, as Chairman of Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children, as a member of the Pennsylvania Business Community’s Early Care and Education Task Force and by serving on the Advisory Council for Pennsylvania’s Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). In 2008 he was appointed by Governor Rendell to Pennsylvania’s Early Learning Investment Commission.Locally he has served as Chairman of the York County Economic Development Corp, Martin Library and Historic York Inc. and on the Board of the Appell Center for the Performing Arts.
Mr. Brubaker holds a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University and MBA from Harvard Business School.
