Amara Ransom, CIA, MPA, has extensive experience in auditing and control management, currently serving as the Lead Control Management Officer at Wells Fargo since September 2015. Previous roles at Wells Fargo include Enterprise Testing Senior Associate and Senior Auditor, among others. Prior to Wells Fargo, Amara worked as an Internal Auditor for the City of Charlotte and a Performance Auditor at the Legislative Audit Council, where contributions included conducting performance audits and process improvement recommendations. Amara's early career involved positions such as a Stimulus Accountability Intern at the State of Georgia and various internships focused on research, budgeting, and government planning. Amara holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Claflin University.
