Weilin Wu is an Impact Manager at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, where responsibilities include developing the Charity's first Impact Framework and building an evaluation and reporting function. Previously, Weilin served as a Research Impact Manager at Cancer Research UK, leading the development of case studies to showcase the impact of research on cancer and designing an assessment method that linked CRUK's funding to the creation of over 50 cancer drugs. Additional roles at Cancer Research UK included Communications Lead for the Race Equality & Equity Staff Network and Research Communications Manager, where Weilin engaged high-value donors and the public through tailored proposals and presentations. Weilin holds an MSc in Genomic Approaches to Drug Discovery and a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences, both from The University of Sheffield.
