Paul Meller currently serves as the Research Lead for Discovery Research at Wellcome Trust since October 2022 and is a member of the Board of Trustees for Jonathan's Voice, a charity dedicated to addressing mental health stigma. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Director and Head of Creative Arts and Digital Humanities at UK Research and Innovation from September 2017 to October 2022, as well as various senior positions at the Economic and Social Research Council between 2009 and 2017. Paul Meller also spent time as a Policy Manager at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills in 2012. Academic qualifications include a PhD in History from Durham University, obtained between 2005 and 2008.
