Melina Galdos-Frisancho is a Research Manager in Climate & Health at Wellcome Trust, with previous experience as a Consultant for UNDP and a Research Fellow at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU). At SPRU, Galdos-Frisancho focused on transdisciplinary research projects addressing sustainability challenges in Chile’s Agricultural System, employing the Transformative Innovation Framework to enhance stakeholder engagement. Galdos-Frisancho also co-coordinated the Latin American Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy Group and served as a doctoral tutor at the University of Sussex. Galdos-Frisancho has held various research roles, including Editorial Assistant for the Journal Research Policy and Research Manager at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, where Galdos-Frisancho developed research evaluation strategies. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Science and Technology Policy Studies from the University of Sussex and multiple degrees in related fields from prestigious institutions.
