Philip Downie has extensive experience in the drilling industry, having held various positions from Roughneck to Driller across multiple companies. Currently employed as a Driller at Well-Safe Solutions since January 2023, Philip previously worked at Awilco Drilling from August 2018 to February 2023, advancing from Assistant Driller to Roughneck. Earlier roles include Driller and Assistant Driller at Awilco Drilling PLC and positions at Transocean and Global Santa Fe, including roles as Roughneck and Roustabout. Additionally, Philip began a career in construction as an Apprentice Joiner at Derek Ironside Building. Education was completed at Banff Academy.
