Taib Rawi DO, MBA, HMDC has worked in a variety of roles in the medical field since 2007. Taib began their career as an Internal Medicine Resident at the University of Southern California in 2007. In 2010, they became a Geriatric Medicine Fellow at UCLA Health, and in 2011 they moved to Kaiser Permanente as a Hospitalist Medicine. In 2013, they took on a role as Geriatrics, Hospice & Palliative Medicine at Kaiser Permanente. In 2015, they became a Home Based Primary Care at the Veteran Administration. In 2016, they were a Hospice and Palliative Medicine at The Elizabeth Hospice and a Health Sciences Associate Clinical Professor at UC San Diego Health. Currently, they are a Clinical Advisor at Concert Health and Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer at Welby Health, where they are helping to connect disparate parts of disease management to help physicians oversee the continuum of care.
Taib Rawi DO, MBA, HMDC's education history is as follows: In 1998, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2003, they attended both Kansas City University and Rockhurst University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Management in 2007. In 2017, they obtained a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from UC San Diego's Collaboratory for Downtown Innovation. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Hospice Medical Director Certification Board.
