Tom Potkanowicz has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Tom began their career at Carpenter Technology in 1985 as a B2B Sales professional, where they worked with various industries such as aerospace, energy, bio-medical, and heavy manufacturing. In 1987, they joined General Mills as a Senior Sales Manager, focusing on market share growth, revenue generation, strategic planning, talent acquisition, and employee development. In 2013, they joined Solutions for Independent Living as a Business Development Manager/General Manager, leading the development of sales and marketing plans, analyzing market trends, and managing overall business functions. Later that same year, they moved on to Manitowoc Foodservice as a Sales Management professional. Since 2014, Tom has been working at Welbilt Inc. as a Senior Regional Product Sales Manager, utilizing their expertise to drive sales and manage the company's product portfolio.

Tom Potkanowicz attended Youngstown State University from 1978 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Marketing.
