Mette Wasland has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mette started their career in 1999 as a Business Development Assistant at Unilever and later worked as a Customer Marketing Executive and Channel Development Executive within the same company. In 2006, they joined Dairy Crest as a Trade Marketing Manager. Mette then moved on to work as an Independent Consultant for Miglio Designer Jewellery before joining Welbilt Inc. in 2011 as a Sales and Marketing Administration professional.

Mette Wasland's education history includes attending the University of Agder (UiA) where they studied English Literature. Additionally, they completed their A-levels at Vågsbygd Videregående Skole, focusing on Maths, Physics, and Business Studies.
