Elina Ahlqvist has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 20 years. Elina has worked in various roles and organizations, showcasing their expertise in project management and planning.

Starting in 1996, Elina worked as a Research Student at The University of Tokyo. Elina then joined Ramboll Finland Oy in 1998 as a Research Engineer and Project Manager. During their time at Ramboll, they successfully managed research projects until 2006.

In 2006, Elina joined A-Insinöörit Suunnittelu Oy, where they held two different roles. Initially, they served as a Project Manager, overseeing various projects until 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they took on the role of Planning Manager, showcasing their strong skills in project planning.

Elina's next position was at the Finnish Transport Agency, where they worked as a Ylitarkastaja (temporary position) from 2016 to 2017. During this time, they showcased their regulatory knowledge and expertise.

Elina Ahlqvist's education history starts in 1985 when they attended Kangasala High School and graduated with a ylioppilas degree. In 1988, they enrolled at TTKK Yhdyskuntatekniikka where they obtained a DI degree in Rakennusgeologia, which they completed in 1995. Elina continued their education in 2011 at Tampere University of Technology from 2011 to 2012, studying Water supply and sewerage management. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they attended Tredu, Tampere, specializing in Johtamisen erikoisammattitutkinto (JET) without completing a specific degree.
