James Thomas has extensive experience in network systems and engineering, currently serving as part of the Global Voice and Data Networks team at Weil Gotshal and Manges since April 2012. Prior to this role, James worked as a Supervisor of Network Systems at Shearman & Sterling LLP from February 2002 to April 2012. Additional experience includes positions as a Unix Engineer at IntraLinks and a network engineer at LivePerson between 2000 and 2002. James began a career in engineering at INS from 2000 to 2001 and also contributed as a Unix and network engineer at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia from 1997 to 1999. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Connecticut State University, earned between 1991 and 1996.
