Rana Samara has diverse work experience in social media management and content marketing. Rana started their career as a Lead Translator & Content Producer at Maktoob Group (Yahoo!) in 2008, where they managed translation functions and produced digital content. Rana then moved on to work at Sambet as a Technical Writer & Content Marketer, where they created informative and engaging content to market software solutions. Rana later joined Kaspersky Lab Middle East as a Regional Social Media Manager, overseeing social media operations in the Middle East. Rana then transitioned to a role as a Social Media Strategist at Wego.com, a travel search website, where they managed social media content planning. Rana also worked as a Freelance Social Media Strategist, providing social media insights and content planning for various clients.

Rana Samara obtained a Master of Science degree in Digital Marketing from Middlesex University Dubai, completing their studies from 2020 to 2022. Prior to this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and English (Language and Literature) from the University of Jordan, which they achieved between 2004 and 2007.
