Lisa Ventura currently serves as a Steering Committee Member at Wedu, focusing on advancing women’s leadership through the Local Chapter strategy. Previously, Lisa held the position of Public Affairs Manager at Better Cotton, where the mission involved supporting cotton farming communities and environmental sustainability. At the World Economic Forum, Lisa worked in various roles, including Practice Lead for the Partnering Against Corruption Initiative, where engagement with the private sector to promote business integrity was key. Additional roles included Acting Head of Civil Society Communities and Project Specialist, concentrating on integrating civil society into global governance efforts. Early career experience included positions at HURIDOCS, the International Commission of Jurists, and McKinsey & Company, alongside an internship at Child Rights Connect. Lisa holds a Master’s degree in International Law from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor of Arts in European Politics from the University of Nottingham.
