William Hammel, M.Ed, is an experienced special education teacher currently serving as a K-2 special education consulting teacher at Webster Central School District since September 2022. Previously, William worked as a 3rd grade special education consultant teacher at York Central School District from September 2015 to August 2022. William's experience also includes roles as the Director of Student Services at The Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage, where guidance was provided to students in intensive program formats from 2012 to 2015, and as an Adult Literacy Instructor at Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES, supporting adults pursuing their GED from 2011 to 2013. Earlier positions included teaching in special education settings at Brockport Central School District and Hillside Family of Agencies, where William developed and implemented IEPs and attended CSE meetings. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Education from Roberts Wesleyan University, a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Nazareth University, and an Associate's in Liberal Arts and General Studies from Monroe Community College.
