Shane Kunz has been working in the software development field since 2015. In 2015, they were a Research Assistant at DePaul University College of Computing and Digital Media. In 2016, they were a Research Assistant at DePaul University, where they built a database security coexecution system. In 2017, they became a Software Developer at Atlas Financial Holdings, Inc., where they created and modified applications with complex business rules for departments like IT, HR, Accounting, Operations, and Underwriting. In 2018, they were a Solutions Developer at BlueBolt, where they built and supported full stack web solutions for clients using Microsoft .NET CMS/Ecommerce systems, developed and supported e-commerce stores using SaaS ecommerce platforms, wrote ruby scripts, and built custom apps and servers using Node. In 2022, they became a Software Developer at WEBIT Services.

Shane Kunz attended Marist High School in Chicago from 2008 to 2012. Shane then went on to DePaul University where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from 2012 to 2016. Shane also has a certification from Code School in Shaping up with Angular.js.
