Lorena Mitchell is an experienced professional with a diverse background in design, administration, and digital media strategy. Currently serving as an Administrator for Open MFA since January 2023, Lorena collaborates with local artists and coordinates events aimed at enhancing community engagement in the arts. As the Designer and Founder of Rena Does Art, Lorena specializes in creating digitally-illustrated graphics and developing branding for clients. Additionally, Lorena has worked as a Digital Media Strategist at Webinopoly Inc, consulting on Shopify site design and managing social media accounts. Previous experience includes roles as a Studio Assistant at PHONOSCOPE SERVICES, INC., a Community Relations Intern at Harris County Protective Services, and sales positions at Avenue Clothing Company and Angels Attic Thrift Shop Inc. Lorena holds a Bachelor's degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from the University of Houston and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Design and Visual Communications from Lone Star College System.
