William Jefferson

Payroll Manager at Elevate

William Jefferson is the current Payroll Manager at Elevate. Prior to that, they were an Implementation Consultant II at Paylocity from May 2019 to September 2019. In that role, they supervised a team of up to 15 remote and onsite associates with responsibility for client accounts with up to 499 employees. William reported directly to the Service Center Executive team and worked closely with clients and team members to meet corporate key performance initiatives (KPIs) in a metrics-driven environment.

During their time at Paylocity, William excelled at mentoring and coaching team members, creating an Associate roadmap for performance success, and monitoring performance. William also reduced costs and increased productivity by presenting multiple special projects to the executive team, gaining approval and managing scope of the project to completion. In addition, they worked closely with the regional and corporate office in rolling out system enhancements and updates by training team members of technology and troubleshooting issues during implementation. William was also known for their ability to resolve escalated client issues by identifying root causes and processing urgent client payrolls under demanding deadlines.

William is known for their ability to build cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client resolution on projects or client issues. Their attention to detail and commitment to their clients has made him a valuable asset in the payroll industry.

William Jefferson has a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Brandman University, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Sacramento State College of Business Administration, and a Certification from the American Payroll Association as a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).
